Blitz and Tessa are truly Best Friends Forever. They are both senior dogs who lived together for many years until their elderly owner was no longer able to care for them. These pals both have very friendly, sweet dispositions and are looking for a Forever Home together.
Foster Program For Senior PetsSince we are a No-Kill shelter, we have many pets that have resided at the Shelter for years, with little chance of adoption through no fault of their own. The intent of the CASI Animal Foster Program for Seniors, is to place these harder-to-adopt animals, primarily senior cats and dogs, into loving and safe homes so they do not have to spend their twilight years in a shelter. Despite how much we love and care for our animals, there is no place like home. We are looking for individuals who, with our help, are ready to make a difference in a pet’s life. You supply the home, love, patience, and commitment and we will provide routine medical costs (such as vaccinations and medications) and assist with any transitional issues. If you think you have what it takes to be a “Foster Parent”, give us a call at 210-658-4821 or stop by and see us at the Shelter.

ADOPTION PHOTO GALLERYIf you adopted a pet from us in the past several months you may be in our Adoption Gallery. Thank you to our wonderful families who provided Forever Homes for some very special pets and to PETSMART at the Forum for hosting our many adoption events!
