What to do if you lose or find a pet

Bring found animal to a vet or shelter to be scanned for a microchip.

Post fliers in the area where you lost/found the animal (one mile radius, if possible).

Post fliers at all main intersections and at neighborhood entrances.

Call local rescue groups, animal control, and shelters to look for animal.

Post a lost/found ad in local newspapers.

If you find a pet, care for immediate needs (food, water, shelter, medical necessities, spay/neuter, try to re-home to a safe home, or contact a no-kill group.
